An old picture made on canvas on natural wood, with a colored background. The halo of the image is silver with local gold plated gold and has been decorated with European Crystals. The image is accompanied by a free support base. Jesus Christ Almighty Image of the 16th century. As the Christian hagiography defines, the Almighty Jesus dominates the central dome of all Byzantine temples, while if the temple does not have a dome (trolus), then the icon of Christ is holy inscribed in the center of the temple roof. In this version of the picture, Jesus is consecrated with a strict look but with manifest love that characterizes him, with a golden halo, with his right hand blessing and with the left holding close to his chest the Gospel. The original work, a source of inspiration of the hagiographer, is located in Sifnos, on the sacred rock of Chrysopigi, in the famous monastery of 1650, the Holy Monastery of Virgin Mary Chrysopigi.
