Triptych of images crafted on canvas on wood. On the moving leaves of the triptych, the Archangels Michael and Gabriel are depicted in the same style as the central image, right and left. Saint George Image painted at the end of the 15th century, by an unknown painter in Khandaka, depicting Saint George on horseback slaying the winged dragon with his spear, one of the saint's most popular miracles, in the Eastern Province of Antalya, in the city of Alagia where Selvius Christianomachos reigned. In this city there was a terrible dragon who daily seized people or animals and devoured them. When the king did not manage to kill the dragon, according to an order that he issued, everyone should send their child to be eaten by the dragon. When it was his daughter's turn, George the Great, still the leader of Diocletian's military unit, offered to slay the Dragon if all, King, princess and people, would embrace the Christian religion.
