The image is accompanied by a free support base. Our Lady Forever Helped Image of Our Lady dating back to the 15th century. Christian tradition connects this image with the constant offering to the needy, those affected and in need of love, protection and support. There are reports that it was part of the Monastery of the Lady of Kardiotissa, in the mountains of Diktis. Today the original work is located in the church of St. Alfonso on Esguiline Hill in Rome.
