Handmade & Brands Policy

Eligible for Handmade

• Items physically made, assembled, altered or finished by the seller or its disclosed small workshop.
• Original designs produced with a disclosed production partner where the seller has a real creative and supervisory role.
• Vintage goods, craft supplies and finished products sourced for resale belong in Brands unless made or originally designed by the seller under the criteria above.
• Traditional, historical or classic designs independently made by multiple genuine workshops.

Not eligible for Handmade

• Dropshipping or simple resale of finished goods.
• Mass-produced goods represented as handmade, workshop-made or designed by the seller.
• False origin, materials, production method, age, maker or production-partner claims.
• Copying another creator’s protected content, branding or product photographs.

Brands

Brands includes brand collections, retail and resale. Sellers must identify the actual brand, origin and production role truthfully, hold any required rights to sell the goods and meet the same verification, product-safety, consumer-rights and prohibited-items requirements as every other EmenCraft seller. A Brands label is not an endorsement or a certification. Counterfeit, unsafe, illegal and misleading goods remain prohibited.

Evidence and review

EmenCraft may request workspace photographs, process descriptions, source invoices, design files, production-partner details or other proportionate evidence. Evidence is assessed for truthful production, not for design uniqueness. When a Handmade shop fails the criteria, EmenCraft may move the shop and all its listings to Brands, record the reason and allow an appeal through the Trust Centre. Administrative section changes can only be made by EmenCraft. Reclassification does not change existing orders or remove responsibility for earlier claims.
