EMENCRAFT POLICY
Seller Agreement
Verification, handmade standards, product compliance, orders and tax records.
1. Seller and trader verification
- Provide accurate legal name, address, telephone, email, trader status, tax jurisdiction and registration information.
- Provide identity, business and payment-account evidence when requested through the secure verification process.
- Keep information current and complete periodic reconfirmation.
- Self-certify that products offered comply with applicable law.
2. Handmade and authenticity
Listings must truthfully describe who designed, made or sourced the item and the role of any production partner. Dropshipping, simple resale, or mass-produced products presented as handmade are prohibited.
A traditional or classic design may legitimately be made by more than one independent workshop. EmenCraft does not require every handmade design to be unique; it requires truthful authorship, production and product information.
3. Product information and safety
- Provide accurate photographs, materials, dimensions, price, stock, variations, warnings and care information.
- Where applicable, provide manufacturer, EU responsible-person, product identifier and safety-warning information required for distance sales.
- Do not list recalled, unsafe, counterfeit, illegal or prohibited goods.
- Maintain evidence of origin, production, compliance and safety and provide it promptly when requested.
4. Orders and customer service
- Meet disclosed production and dispatch times and use valid tracking when available.
- Respond to cancellation, return, non-delivery and dispute requests through EmenCraft.
- Honour mandatory consumer rights even if the shop policy is more restrictive.
- Do not ask buyers to pay or resolve an EmenCraft order outside the platform.
5. Tax and platform reporting
Sellers remain responsible for their own tax, VAT, customs and business obligations. Where reporting rules apply, EmenCraft may collect, verify and report seller identity, transaction, fee and payment information to HMRC or another competent tax authority and provide the seller with a copy.
A seller may be restricted from selling if required due-diligence information is missing or cannot be verified.
6. Enforcement and appeals
EmenCraft may request evidence, pause listings, hold publication, restrict selling or suspend a shop where verification, authenticity, safety, fraud or legal concerns arise. Decisions record reasons and may be appealed through the Trust Centre.
