Depending on the amount of pieces you wish, the following discounts are available: 100 TEM : discount 10% 150 TEM : discount 15% 200 TEMs : discount 20% Christ Almighty Preveli Monastery known for its contribution to the liberation struggles of Crete since its construction in the beginning of the 11th century, is divided into the Lower Monastery – abandoned by multiple looting – and the Back Monastery of Theologos, which operates as a male monastery and is visited. At the Back Monastery, and specifically at the two-aisled church of the monastery, dedicated to Saint Ioannis the Theologian and the Evangelism of Theotokos, we find another icon depicting Christ as the Almighty. The icon was created in the mid-19th century, on the temple iconostasis, known for its high art, and attributed to artist Mercourius, an expressionist of the Cretan school. The image is inspired by the image of Christ located in the Holy Monastery of Preveli in Crete. It is an interesting version of the representation of Christ, a creation of a hagiographer of the Cretan school. He was crafted in the 17th century.
