Saint Alexandra Saint Alexandra was the wife of the emperor who connected his existence with the harshest persecutions of Christians (303 – 311 AD). He was a cruel, violent man and she was a calm, philanthropic and compassionate woman. The violent death of St. George led her to the path of Christ and in fact clearly against the will of her husband.
