Materials: Gold, Wood, Canvas. This handmade image is carefully crafted, using the traditional Byzantine hagiography methods by specialized hagiographers, in specially worked wood and decorated with 24K gold sheet. The elaborate carvings on the images are entirely handmade, ensuring that every detail captures the excellent craftsmanship. Our polished images require a specialized manufacturing process, including diligent care and precision. Before each mission, our hagiographers carry out a final finish and thorough quality control, ensuring the highest quality of the project. All our images are blessed by monks of Mount Athos before they reach our customers, thus giving spiritual value to every creation. Due to this careful procedure, the mission can be carried out within 7-15 working days. We also offer the possibility to include a brief personal dedication on the back side of the picture. Saint Pantelemon Saint Panteleimon came from Nicomedia, Asia Minor. He lived and martyred during Maximian’s years (286 – 305 AD). He was educated in medicine and was literate in Christian faith by the elder Ermolaus, priest of the Church of Nicomedia. Known for his miracles by the power of his faith, the occasion stood for him to testify and be killed, after he first persuaded all the soldiers present in his martyrdom to believe in Christ. Once the executioner laid out his sword to cut off the head of the Saint, the sword bent and the iron melted like wax. It is said that from his wound he ran milk and the tree of the olive tree that had been tied to him suddenly bore fruit.
