However, her path brought her by chance to a gathering of Christians where she heard the words of Bishop Nonnos, words that shocked her and led her to other ways of thinking and to the true faith. She gave all her property to the poor, was catechized and baptized, and spent the rest of her life in Jerusalem living as an ascetic.
