In the image of Our Lady of Glycophilousa, Our Lady holds the little Christ with her left hand, while with her right hand she holds his left hand and tenderly touches her cheek to that of Jesus. Jesus' right leg is pointed forward, while the busts of two angels are depicted high left and right of the image of the Virgin. The bright colors, the vivid color of the flesh, the strict and simple design of the garments refer to another work that is kept in the Monastery, the image of St George the Headbearer. Both works belong to the same chronological era.
