Image handmade, painted on canvas on wood with the method of Byzantine hagiography, with a background of gold. Our Lady Vladimir One of the most important and oldest relics of Christianity. It was built in Constantinople in 12th. (1131) and was sent as a gift to the Duke of Kiev. In 1395, during the Tamerlan invasion, he was transferred to Moscow where he is being kept to this day, to the Tretikov Gallery. He is considered protector of Russia.
