My name is Athanasios, and I live in Greece, where I design and handcraft jewelry inspired by Ancient and Byzantine Greek traditions. My workshop is established on the holy mountain Parnassus, near Delphi, the ancient secret holy city, considered the center of the earth by the ancient Greeks. I chose "Rafael Santarosa" as the brand name for my jewels, and soon, my friends and customers started calling me Rafael Santarosa. I love the sound of this name and its secret meaning: Rafael is the name of the archangel of healing, and Santa Rosa symbolizes the holy feminine, representing the Greek goddess Aphrodite.
